Interesting thought Ganesh... I would like to share something to supplement your article.
Greg Chappel in his interim report had written that when he took over,...he had labelled Sachin as a confused man wrt his role in the ever evolving side of ours. Team has treated him like some1 indispensable but some1 who can play a lot of roles.
I believe the team management has failed in defining a definite role for him. Once that is done I believe GOD will reconquer the world...again!!!
