In a recent outburst, Greg Chappell spewed more venom on his latest victims , the Indian "senior" players. Greg Chappell blamed the BCCI's selection of the "senior" players the main cause of India's defeat at the World cup cricket tournament 2007
In fact, Greg Chappell says he was sure that the Indian cricket team would lose even before the team left for the cricket World cup.So much for Greg Chappell's man management skills!
Greg Chappell also poured more venom on the "Indian cultural mindset" by saying that Saurav Ganguly expected a lot in return for recommending a snake like Greg Chappell
Despite Saurav Ganguly great leadership capabilities and people management capabilities, Saurav Ganguly obviously had to pay the price for recommending a snake like Greg Chappell to be Indian cricket coach and doing the Indian cricket world such as disfavor
Greg Chappell is sure of one thing, it is never Greg Chappell 's fault
Greg Chappell is never at fault, it is always someone else's fault for this so-called "guru". Sometimes, Greg Chappell finds the BCCI as the villain, at times it is the Indian selection panel and nowadays the flavor of the month is the Indian senior cricket players

Its absolutely wrong to classify Greg Chappell as personifying the "Australian way of playing cricket". The Australian way of playing cricket is to be open, honest and blunt in all talk and taking every decision.
"Blaming others all the time" is only the Chappell way, not the Australian way!

Greg Chappell is an immature man.
His inability to adapt to Indian culture was the cause of his failure.
Greg Chappell is a close minded man who does not hear the other point of view. The reason for his debacle with Indian cricket is because he treated Indian players like school boys and talked down to them. Unfortunately Chappell is under a delusion that he has all the answers and he is always right. His assistant Ian Frazer is just a business associate who has no coaching back ground or qualification. But Indians have only themselves to blame for hiring Chappell and his assistant. Lalit Modi has also made the same mistake of hiring the two of them to run the Rajasthan Cricket Academy. It is just another avenue for the two of them to earn more money. The RCA now has all the chappell and frazer gimmicks now in the guise of cutting edge coaching.
Greg Chappell was the biggest failure as a Indian Cricket Team coach and manager...I am glad that he is now long gone.
