Ricky Ponting| A disaster for Australian cricket

Ricky Ponting and the damage he has done to Australian cricket

Ricky Ponting is recently back to Harbhajan bashing, but that doesnt exonerate his disastrous influence on Australian cricket

Ricky Ponting admits to "minor errors" during the India Vs Australia Sydney cricket test series

Apart from violating the spirit of the game, creating a new era of verbal abuse, encouraging his fellow cricketers to act like a pack of wild dogs and generally denigrating Australian cricket, Ricky Ponting hasnt done anything wrong.

One wonders what damage Ricky Ponting would do to world cricket when he is guilty of "major errors"

Ricky Ponting is representative of all thats wrong with world cricket, with players like Symonds,Harbhajan, Hayden and Ricky Ponting damaging this noble game, which was played by people like the Don

Robin Uthappa: Australians are sore losers"

Robin Uthappa

Robin Uthappa has called the Australians "sore losers"

In yet another interesting interview, Robin Uthappa has given interesting insights on the Australian cricketers and the Australian cricket media.

In a move that is assured to ruffle the Australian media 's "thin", he has called the Australians "sore losers"

Robin Uthappa says that Australian media coverage of the CB cricket series finals was so very weird

Robin Uthappa uses the Australian cricket media's coverage of the CB cricket series finals to make his point- The Australian cricketers were beaten squarely by the Indian cricket team but the Australian cricket media only covered the cricket series results sparsely in a couple of short notes

The Australian cricket media instead focused on Harbhajan Singh again and his alleged bad behavior

Robin Uthappa suggests that the Australian cricket media was only interested in raking up unnecessary controversies and was not even sporting enough to acknowledge the fair defeat of the Australian cricket team

Robin Uthappa suggests that he and his fellow young cricketers dont believe in taking the abuse of the Australian cricket players

Any international cricketer would acnowledged the tremendous abusive behavior of the Australian cricket team, dirty comments about the players' immediate family are always on the cards when the Australian cricketers are around

Robin Uthappa suggests that he and his younger colleagues are not prepared to take the nonsense talked by the Australian players without hitting back and letting the Australian cricketers get a taste of their own medicine

Mahendra Singh Dhoni even recently underscored this when he said that his cricket team "learnt" a lot about sledging without being punished from the Australian cricket team

What Robin Uthappa did not mention was that the Australian cricket media should probably be commended for supporting their own team so well, but did the Australian cricket media go too far this time?

Steve Bucknor, man of the match in India Vs Australia Sydney cricket test.2007

Steve Bucknor already awarded the "man of the match" trophy for Sydney cricket test?

In a breaking news, it has been reported that Steve Bucknor has been already awarded the man of the match trophy for the Sydney cricket test (see insert photo of Steve Bucknor receiving the trophy).

Steve Bucknor has created another record in test cricket history to receive the man of the match trophy even before the test match has been completed.

In fact, Steve Bucknor apparently received the man of the match trophy on the very first day of the Sydney cricket test! It is highly unlikely that this Steve Bucknor record will ever be beaten- Bradman's record of three triple centuries could be beaten someday but definitely not Steve Bucknor's record

Steve Bucknor the first cricket test umpire to be awarded the man of the match trophy in Sydney cricket test,2007

Steve Bucknor has apparently created a world record in test cricket history by becoming the first umpire in test cricket to be awarded the man of the match trophy, hitherto confined to test cricket players.

Steve Bucknor has so far turned out an amazing cricket performance and is definitely the person on the cricket field most influencing the outcome of the Sydney test,2007

Andrew Symonds rapped on his knuckles by the Aussie captain,Ponting, says it was Steve Bucknor's fault, mate

Apparently Symonds was playing slighly slow at some point in his innings in the Sydney cricket test and Ricky Ponting asked him to lose his wicket so that Brett Lee and
Johnson could score some fast runs, but try as he might, Steve Bucknor ensured that Andrew Symonds couldn't get out. An embarrased Andrew Symonds apparently told his captain that
with Steve Bucknor around, "It wasn't my fault, mate , I tried to lose my wicket"

Steve Bucknor and his incredible achievement has ensured that he is feared by every cricket opposition in the world, and not only batsmen but also aggressive bowlers quake when they hear that Steve Bucknor is part of the ICC Elite Umpiring Panel

Shaun Tait,cricket 's latest chucker?

Winding Up - Shaun Tait
Originally uploaded by *Scottyo*

Does Shaun Tait, the latest of the cricket world's fast bowlers chuck?

Shaun Tait is the latest fast bowler to be tainted by accusations of chucking. After Shoaib Akhtar, Brett Lee and umpteen other fast bowlers before him, Shaun Tait has been accused of chucking

Daniel Vettori has indirectly accused Shaun Tait of chucking

Whether Shaun Tait actually chucks is a matter of conjecture- we mere mortals (read : cricket fans ) will never know the answer.

Daniel Vettori may just be displaying gamesmanship by calling attention to Shaun Tait 's action before the Australia Vs New Zealand cricket series.

The ICC will never ban Shaun Tait for chucking

The ICC has clearly almost allowed every cricket bowler to chuck by their insipid cricket administration and Shaun Tait will be just another bowler to face some temporary criticism before being allowed to get back to his old bowling action

Shoaib Akhtar and Brett Lee have been chucking , at least on their special fast yorkers for ages, and it will be unfair of the ICC to impose any ban on a young bowler like Shaun Tait after the precedence set by Shoiab Akhtar and Brett Lee

Did I say that Shaun Tait chucks? Well., neither will the ICC!

Greg Chappell 's big mouth blabbers more

Greg Chappell continues with his hypocritical ways and his ability to talk crap

Greg Chappell has an expert ability to be political and hypocritical

In a recent outburst, Greg Chappell spewed more venom on his latest victims , the Indian "senior" players. Greg Chappell blamed the BCCI's selection of the "senior" players the main cause of India's defeat at the World cup cricket tournament 2007

In fact, Greg Chappell says he was sure that the Indian cricket team would lose even before the team left for the cricket World cup.So much for Greg Chappell's man management skills!

Greg Chappell also poured more venom on the "Indian cultural mindset" by saying that Saurav Ganguly expected a lot in return for recommending a snake like Greg Chappell

Despite Saurav Ganguly great leadership capabilities and people management capabilities, Saurav Ganguly obviously had to pay the price for recommending a snake like Greg Chappell to be Indian cricket coach and doing the Indian cricket world such as disfavor

Greg Chappell is sure of one thing, it is never Greg Chappell 's fault

Greg Chappell is never at fault, it is always someone else's fault for this so-called "guru". Sometimes, Greg Chappell finds the BCCI as the villain, at times it is the Indian selection panel and nowadays the flavor of the month is the Indian senior cricket players

Greg Chappell is so un-Australian in nature

Its absolutely wrong to classify Greg Chappell as personifying the "Australian way of playing cricket". The Australian way of playing cricket is to be open, honest and blunt in all talk and taking every decision.

"Blaming others all the time" is only the Chappell way, not the Australian way!

Sachin Tendulkar fights a losing battle in India Vs Australia fifth oneday international

Sachin Tendulkar
Originally uploaded by MangaloreCity.com

Sachin Tendulkar played a classy knock ,but the India Vs Australia one day international cricket series seems destined to go Australia's way

Barring Sachin Tendulkar, the Indian cricket team played a poor game of cricket in the fifth India Vs Australia cricket ODI at Vododara.
Despite Sachin Tendulkar's fighting knock of 47, the Indian cricket team was bowled out for just 148 runs in the India Vs Australia ODI cricket match

Gilchrist made a mockery of the Indian cricket score, by slamming four sixes en route to a good score of 77 runs, but Sachin Tendulkar had provided the early magic by some amazing straight drives

Sachin Tendulkar was out to the best ball bowled in the India Vs Australia ODI cricket series

Sachin Tendulkar was out to an incredible ball by Brett Lee,probably the best ball in the ongoing India Vs Australia ODI cricket series. Brett Lee came back for his second spell, and bowled a peach of a delivery that drew Sachin Tendulkar to the front foot and seamed away at 150 mph to give an easy catch to Adam Gilchrist

With Sachin Tendulkar's dismissal, the last resistance of the Indian cricket team in this India Vs Australia cricket match faded away and the Indian cricket team folded up for 148 runs

India Vs Australia 5th ODI match summary - If Sachin Tendulkar and Saurav Ganguly do not provide a great start for India, the Indian cricket team is a disaster

Michael Clarke ends Indian cricket bowlers' celebrations in India VsAustralia one day international cricket match at Bangalore

Michael Clarke hit a masterly knock to get the Indian cricket bowlers back to reality

Michael Clarke has always thrived on wickets on the subcontinent and he once again proved his mastery of Indian cricket pitches with a superlative century in the first India Vs Australia one day international cricket match at Bangalore

Unlike other Australian batsmen, Michael Clarke uses his feet beautifully against the spinners and played a great knock of 130 runs to get the Australian cricket team in a winning position in the first one day international cricket match at Bangalore

Michael Clarke's hundred has probably helped bring the Indian cricket bowlers to accept the reality of Indian cricket pitches

The Indian cricket bowlers were made to realize that Indian cricket pitches are very much different from the South African cricket pitches. The Indian cricket bowlers were treated like spinners on the sublime Bangalore track by Michael Clarke as the Australian cricket team rattled up a huge score

The Indian cricket bowlers should be thankful for the wakeup call caused by Michael Clarke's innings as the Indian cricket team were lucky to end up with a draw after the tremendous Australian onslaught which was only matched by the stormy thunderstorm

Michael Clarke has reminded the Indian cricket bowlers that line and length matter on bland Indian pitches

The Indian cricket bowlers, led by Sreesanth, RP Singh and Zaheer Khan were erratic and that helped Michael Clarke start the Indian one day international cricket series on a very bright note.

Lets hope that the Indian bowlers wake up to bowl better in the remaining india Vs Australia one day internationals, else this India Vs Australia one day cricket series will end up being a one side affair

The India Vs Australia one day international cricket series is about to start and its time for GameCricket.com's predictions for the India Vs Australia cricket series

Our statistical simulations for the India Vs Australia one day international cricket series suggest that the Australian cricket team will win the India Vs Australia one day international cricket series by a score of 4-3

GameCricket.com predicts a win for the Australian cricket team in the India Vs Australia one day international cricket series

Sure,Mahendra Singh Dhoni's Indian cricket team is on a high after winning the Twenty20 cricket World cup, but the Australian cricket team of course has incredible talent and experience in one day international cricket matches to post a win for the Australian cricket team in the India Vs Australia one day international cricket series

Sachin Tendulkar holds the key for the Indian cricket team in the India Vs Australia one day international cricket series

Sachin Tendulkar will decide the outcome of the India Vs Australia one day international cricket series. This sounds like a chiche, even after almost twenty years of cricket by Sachin Tendulkar, but the Indian cricket team has evolved around Sachin and will continue to evolve around Sachin till he retires

Sachin Tendulkar was not a member of the World cup winning Indian Twenty20 cricket team in South Africa, and Sachin Tendulkar will be eager to prove a point to his detractors in the India Vs Australia one day international cricket series

The Australian cricket team's level of rustiness offers a good chance for the Indian cricket team to pull off an upset in the India Vs Australia one day cricket series

The Australian cricket team seems to be rusty after their long layoff and this could prove to be a great chance for the Indian cricket team in the India Vs Australia one day international cricket series

In summary, the Australian cricket team are the favorites to win the India Vs Australia one day international cricket series, but the Indian cricket team could cause an upset if Sachin Tendulkar displays his brilliance and the Australian cricket team do not recover from their rustiness

Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his Indian teammates successfully won the Twenty20 cricket World cup. Along the way, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his Indian cricketers won the crucial India Vs Australia Twenty20 cricket match in the Twenty20 cricket World cup semifinals

Mahendra Singh Dhoni may find the Australian cricket team in the India Vs Australia one day international cricket series to be a different team in the one day international cricket series format

The Australian cricket team may be new to the Twenty20 cricket format but the India Vs Australia one day international cricket series provides a chance for the Australian cricket team to prove themselves to be masters of the one day internationals format

Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his merry band of cricketers have the advantage of having the experience of Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid in the India Vs Australia one day international cricket series

The experience of Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid will be a huge advantage for Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his merry band of cricketers in the India Vs Australia one day international cricket series

Apart from his immense talent,Sachin Tendulkar brings to the table, a great understanding of the cricket game and this will be invaluable for Mahendra Singh Dhoni and the Indian cricket team In the India Vs Australia one day international cricket series

For example, while batting first, within a few overs Sachin Tendulkar typically will decide on the target score and convey it to Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the Indian cricket team's captain. This kind of perception is invaluable for Mahendra SIngh Dhoni and the Indian cricket team in the India Vs Australia cricket one day international series

The Australian cricket team appear rusty at the start of the India Vs Australia one day international cricket series, and this is the best chance for Mahendra Singh Dhoni and the Indian cricket team

Mahendra Singh Dhoni and the Indian cricket team should exploit the rustiness of the Australian cricket team at the start of the India Vs Australia one day international cricket series

The Australian cricket team also are missing Ricky Ponting for the first few matches of the India Vs Australia one day international cricket series and it is a great opportunity for Dhoni and the Indian cricket team to grab the initiative

Hoping for an amazing India Vs Australia one day international cricket series

Sachin Tendulkar,Sachin Tendulkar is not a match winner anymore?

sachin tendulkar
Originally uploaded by chowdh60

Sachin Tendulkar was, is and will be a match winner for the Indian cricket team

Sachin Tendulkar is God. I am obviously a die hard Sachin Tendulkar cricket fan, and get amazed by Sachin Tendulkar's ability to take criticism from the cricket fans of his own country

Sachin Tendulkar is a victim of the "argumentative Indian"

Sachin Tendulkar scored a match winning knock of 91 runs against the England cricket team and was undone only by Simon Taufel, the umpire. Despite this match winning knock by Sachin Tendulkar, sections of the Indian media, and armchair enthusiasts in India criticize Sachin for his "slow" knock of 91

Sachin Tendulkar was criticized earlier by Ian Chappell

At the height of Sachin Tendulkar's dispute with Greg Chappell, Ian Chappell suggested that Sachin Tendulkar should retire, citing Sachin Tendulkar's knock of 241 not out against the Australian cricket team as being "too careful".

Sachin Tendulkar has endured a lot of such criticism in his test career but Ian Chappell's reasoning for Sachin's retirement was the most stupid

Only the opposing international cricket teams must be eagerly awaiting Sachin Tendulkar's retirement

Teams such as the England cricket team, the Australian cricket team and the Sri Lankan cricket team must be hoping that Sachin Tendulkar retires soon, but criticism from the Indian cricket fan is stupid

Bill Johnston, another great Invinsible cricketer down

Bill Johnston, member of the Australian Invincibles cricket team is no more

Bill Johnston, a key bowler of the Australian Invincibles cricket team of 1948 is
no longer with us. Bill Johnston was the joint leading wicket taker in the 1948 Australian
Invincibles cricket tour of England

Bill Johnston was a multidimensional left arm bowler for the Australian cricket team

Bill Johnston was a anomaly in the age of specialization. Bill Johnston started his career as a
slow left arm spinner but on the 1948 tour of England, he adapted himself
to become a fast bowler. Towards the end of his career, Bill Johnston again reverted to spin

Bill Johnston, a fast bowler with no temper

Bill Johnston had a temperament that was very much unlike that of the
current Australian cricket team. Tiger O'Reilly referred to Bill Johnston as a bowler with
a single flaw- Bill Johnston had no temper!

Bill Johnston belonged to that unique breed of bowlers, a multidimensional talented
successful Australian bowler with a cool temperament

Send Greg Chappell to Sri Lanka

Send Greg Chappell to Sri Lanka-The Australian cricket solution

The Australian cricket think-tank is in a serious quandary. The Sri Lankan cricket team is getting better and can seriously challenge the Australian cricket team soon

Coach Buchanan comes up with a great idea. "Hey, lets play the Greg Chappell trick again- This time on the Sri Lankan cricket team"

The Greg Chappell trick- how the Indian cricket team was vanquished

The Indian cricket team under Saurav Ganguly was almost threatening to eject the Australian cricket team from the top spot. The Indian cricket team actually tied the India Vs Australia cricket series in Australia 1-1, and Australia had to struggle with the help of Parthiv Patel and the umpires to save the last test

That's when Buchanan figured out the first phase of the Greg Chappell trick- Send Greg Chappell as coach to the Indian cricket team

This information was leaked to us by sources close to the former Indian coach

Adam Gilchrist-Nice guys sometimes finish first

Adam Gilchrist was the force behind the Australian cricket team's win in the cricket World cup,2007 in the Caribbean.

Amazingly,Gilchrist or Gilly, seems to lack the aggression characterised by the Australian cricket team.In fact, Gilchrist does certain amazingly ancient gentlemanly things, such as "walking",if Gilchrist thinks he is out, even before the umpire comes up with his decision.

The Sri Lankan cricket bowlers however, did not find anything nice about Gilchrist's batting as he thrashed the Sri Lankan cricket bowlers to all corners of Barbados.

Three cheers to Adam Gilchrist on his matchwinning knock at the cricket World cup finals against Sri Lanka

Australia Vs Sri Lanka World cup cricket final- Gilchrist's finals

The Australia Vs Sri Lanka World cup cricket finals will be forever remembered for Gilchrist's memorable performance. The Australia Vs Sri Lanka World cup finals was reduced to a no-contest as Gilchrist brutally demolished the Sri Lankan cricket bowlers

Gilchrist's hitting in Australia Vs Sri Lankan World cup cricket finals reminded one of Viv Richards

The brutal batting by Gilchrist in the Australia Vs Sri Lanka World cup finals reminded one of the great Viv Richards in the 1979 cricket finals.Gilchrist hit eight sixes in his knock of 149 as he single handedly demolished the Sri Lankan cricket team

Even Muralitharan could not stop Gilchrist in Australia Vs Sri Lanka World cup cricket finals

The real contest of the World cup cricket finals in Bridgetown was the battle between Muralitharan and his quest to stop the rampaging Gilchrist

But, Gilchrist stamped his authority in the Australia Vs Sri Lanka World cup cricket finals by even taking care of Muralitharan and his doosras

Gilchrist's success in the Australia Vs Sri Lanka World cup cricket finals suggests nice guys still have a chance

Gilchrist is unlike the traditional Aussie cricketer in the Australia Vs Sri Lanka World cup finals. Gilchrist believes in the gentlemanly tradition of "walking" , if he thinks he is out and doesn't really abuse the cricket opposition

The Australia Vs Sri Lanka World cup finals proves that its not all about Australia's aggression that makes them win-its sheer talent in players like Gilchrist and Mcgrath

Sri Lanka Vs Australia World cup cricket finals,Sri Lanka could upset Australia

Sri Lanka Vs Australia World cup cricket finals-Sri Lanka could upset Australian cricket team

In the Sri Lanka Vs Australia World cup cricket finals, the Sri Lankan cricket team can definitely upset the Australian cricket team

The Sri Lankan cricket team has more talent and variety than the Australian cricket team in this Sri Lanka Vs Australia World cup cricket finals at Bridgetown

The outcome of the Sri Lanka Vs Australia World cup cricket finals could depend on the Barbados pitch

The Sri Lanka Vs Australia World cup cricket finals will hinge on the Barbados cricket pitch which has traditionally helped fast bowlers.
Despite the bravado of the Sri Lankan cricket team players, the Australian cricket team is better at bowling and batting on a seaming wicket.

The Sri Lanka Vs Australia World cup cricket finals could thus depend on the true nature of the current relaid Barbados cricket pitch,
- some pitch doctors have claimed that the particular pitch on which the Sri Lanka Vs Australia World cup
cricket finals will be played is a real belter and will not aid pace bowling to the extent expected

The Sri Lanka Vs Australia World cup cricket final at Barbados sees an amazingly well balanced Sri Lankan team

The Sri Lankan cricket team for the Sri Lanka Vs Australia World cup finals has a perfect balance of veterans like Jayasurya and youngsters like
Tharanga, classical spin bowlers like Muralitharan and seam experts like Vaas, speedsters like Malinga and dodgy batters like
Sangakarra.

The Sri Lankan cricket team is definitely a more balanced cricket team than the Australian cricket team for the
Sri Lanka Vs Australia World cup cricket finals

A world cup finals win for the Sri Lankan cricket team Vs Australia will be the best farewell for Jayasurya and Muralitharan

Australia Vs New Zealand Super Eights cricket match at the World cup 2007

Australia win predicted in Australia Vs New Zealand Super Eights World cup cricket match

The Australian cricket team is set to win the Australia Vs New Zealand Super Eights cricket match. The Australia Vs New Zealand cricket match will miss the best bowler of the cricket World cup, as Shane Bond has been rested

New Zealand cricket team as good as Australia with Bond, half as good without Bond

Individual performances do determine the success of any cricket team, and Shane Bond is an incredible bowler for the New Zealand cricket team. Shane Bond is very easily the best bowler in this cricket World cup and the Australia Vs New Zealand Super Eights cricket match is set to lose its entire competitiveness with the absence of Shane Bond from the New Zealand cricket team

Our predictions for the Australia Vs New Zealand World cup cricket match- an easy win for the Australian cricket team

Who is Ian Chappell to tell Sachin to retire?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Indian cricket

Every jerk in the country and outside seems to think that there is something wrong with Indian cricket and "something" needs to be done about it

The BCCI needs to avoid this precise knee jerk stupid reaction to Indian cricket

Who is Ian Chappell to tell Sachin to retire

Ian Chappell is just another smart guy who says something controversial and keeps himself in the news (and gets invited by the stupid Indian media) for his "insightful" (ha!) comments.

There is nothing wrong with Sachin Tendulkar- he is playing perfectly well. Look at Sachin Tendulkar's average over the last year and you will see that Sachin Tendulkar's average is better than even Ricky Ponting's average. Surprised? You should be surprised , given the nonsense that the Indian media is feeding you

Inzamam said it best-the subcontinent's media does not support the teams

Look at the way the Australian media reacts to every Australian cricket team's loss. The Australian loss is always either blamed on the umpiring, the bad pitch or the hostile overseas crowds! The Australian cricketers can do absolutely nothing wrong

In contrast, the Indian media would criticize even a match winning innings by Sachin Tendulkar- he didn't rotate the strike , for example.

Look at Ian Chappell's criticism of Sachin Tendulkar's almost match winning double hundred against Australia- he criticizes Sachin for not using his talent, but using sheer determination and focus to score runs. The same Ian Chappell is now saying that Sachin lacks determination but has talent..Please dont listen to these so-called Gurus - including the current Australian coach of Indian cricket

Bangladesh Vs Australia World cup cricket- Rafique and Mortaza need to come to the party

Bangladesh Vs Australia World cup Super Eights cricket match

Not many people think that the Bangladesh cricket team can win the Bangladesh Vs Australia one day international cricket match. But the Bangladesh cricket team has a chance of winning the match against Australia if they play their "A" game.

The Bangladesh cricket team need to bowl thirty overs of spin

The only chance for the Bangladesh cricket team is the ability of their spinners,Rafique and Razzaq. Captain Habibul Bashar needs to use spinners for at least thirty overs in the Super Eights World cup cricket match against the Australian cricket team

With due respect to Mashrafe Mortaza and the other Bangladesh seamers- the Australian cricket team, especially Gilchrist and Hayden are probably getting prepared to hit Mortaza out of the attack right now

Mohammed Ashraful needs to bat up the order in Bangladesh Vs Australia World cup Super Eights cricket match

Mohammed Ashraful's century against the Australian cricket team had set up the Bangladesh cricket team's only win against Australia. To win against Australia, bold moves are needed and Bangladesh would do well to show off their bold intentions by pushing Ashraful up the order

In summary, the Bangladesh cricket team have a chance against the Australian cricket team if they employ bold tactics rather than being on the defensive

Greg Chappell, last "foreign" coach for Indian cricket?

Greg Chappell should be the last foreign coach for the Indian cricket team

I am not being chauvinistic when I say that Greg Chappell should be the last truly "foreign" coach for Indian cricket.

When I mentioned "foreign", I was referring to Greg Chappell's inability to understand Indian culture and try to work within the mindset of the Indian cricket team, the Indian cricket fans and the Indian cricket media

Unlike Greg Chappell, John Wright was almost an "Indian" coach

Unlike Greg Chappell,John Wright was loved and respected by the Indian cricket team members, since John Wright knew and understood the cultural sensitivies of the Indian cricket team.

The Australian methods of motivation employed by Greg Chappell were bound to fail with the Indian cricket team. Just look at John Wright's performance with the Indian cricket team - a World cup finals, beating the Australian cricket team in India and drawing against the Australian cricket team in Australia

Greg Chappell and maybe Sunny, need to learn from Steve Waugh's comments

Greg Chappell should learn from Steve Waugh's insightful comments about the cultural differences between the Indian and Australian cricket teams. Steve Waugh has rather insightfully pointed out to the respect expected by the Indian senior cricket players, the class differences apparent in the Indian cricket team's inability to carry their own kit and more

Whats more, Greg Chappell should have realized that in any job, it doesnt make sense to abuse any stakeholders- Greg Chappell's rude behaviour against the Calcutta crowd should have been enough to have thrown him out of Indian cricket team.

No Australian crowd would have allowed Greg Chappell to remain coach after his rude behavior against the Calcutta crowds!

Well,Guru Greg Chappell is unlikely to do well in Australia either as a coach

Greg Chappell-The Damage Guru Greg has caused Indian cricket

Greg Chappell has scarred the Indian cricket team

Greg Chappell's experimentation theory has damaged the careers of several members of the Indian cricket team

Greg Chappell's coaching seems to suggest that no Indian cricket player is secure in the Indian cricket team, even if the Indian cricket player is secure,he has no clue which batting number he will be batting at

Greg Chappell can take his experimentation elsewhere

When talking about Greg Chappell's experimentation, Kapil Dev said it best- Greg is free to take his experimentation elsewhere, but Greg should leave the Indian cricket team out of it

Greg Chappell does not practice the Australian way, either

Greg Chappell knows that the Australian cricket team hardly ever changes the batting order or the core Australian cricket team. Gilchrist has been opening the Australian cricket team's batting for ages and Ponting has always been playing at number 3 in the Australian cricket team

Whose side is Greg Chappell on when he makes these stupid changes in the Indian batting order?

Have you forgotten Greg Chappell's nastiness?

Greg Chappell has survived despite his inherent nastiness

  • Greg Chappell uttered nasty statements against Sourav Ganguly and mentioned that Sourav is playing solely for money

  • Greg Chappell's dirty gesture at Calcutta will not be forgotten

Greg Chappell survives due to the inherent niceness of the Indian cricket fan and the apathy of Indian cricket board

Australian cricket on the decline?

Australian cricket team on the decline?

The Australian cricket team has lost the number 1 position in world cricket. Recently, the Australian cricket team has lost three consecutive one day international cricket matches to the England cricket team and two one day international cricket matches to the New Zealand cricket team

Australian cricket team has too many old players?

Suggesting that the Australian cricket team has too many oldies is the most ridiculous argument for the reasons the Australian cricket team is on the decline

The Australian cricket team should take succour in the return and success of Ganguly and other so-called old guys in the Indian cricket team. The Australian cricket board knows that there is no substitute to a winning cricket combination and it would be stupid to remove the few
"old" (read: experienced ) players left in the Australia

The Australian cricket team misses Warne,Martyn and a super fit McGrath

The Australian cricket team obviously misses Warne and Martyn, but what the Australian cricket team really misses is a really fit McGrath to inspire fear in the opposition batsmen. While McGrath is set to play his last cricket series in the cricket World cup for the Australian cricket team, McGrath needs to bowl with the same old venom- glimpses of which were seen in the recent Ashes cricket test series

In summary, the Australian cricket team may be on the decline, but has the mental strength to bounce back in the cricket world cup

VVS Laxman dropped again from Indian cricket team

VVS Laxman has been dropped for the India Vs Sri Lanka one day international cricket series

Why is VVS Laxman always the fall guy in the Indian cricket team? Its quite amazing that VVS Laxman has been repeatedly treated so badly by the Indian cricket selectors

VVS Laxman was promoted to vice captain of the Indian cricket team just a couple of months back in the last one day international against South Africa, but amazingly, the Indian cricket selectors have decided to insulted him by dropping him for the cricket World cup, without even giving him a chanc
