Malcolm Speed,ICC cricket CEO,Good Riddance

Malcolm Speed , good riddance

Andrew Miller, writes in Cricinfo magazine that the ousting of Malcolm Speed as ICC CEO is an admission of the factionalism in the ICC

I am glad to see Malcolm Speed go as ICC CEO

Malcolm Speed has often be seen to be partisan and has made almost as many gaffes as Ray Mali.

Malcolm Speed may have had issues with the BCCI, but that didnt mean that he could make nasty , gloating comments about India and the inability for a country with a population of 1 billion to win the cricket World cup..

I may not be a great fan of the BCCI, but Malcolm Speed, as ICC CEO, was far worse- Malcolm Speed 's nasty comments don't exactly inspire any confidence about his leadership skills and people from the subcontinent are bound to view Malcolm Speed , as more of a representative of England & Australia cricket boards

A CEO needs to be at least seen to be bi-partisan, but Malcolm Speed 's nasty comments about India did let the cat out of the bag about his biased views

Goodbye and good riddance to Malcolm Speed, his seven years as ICC CEO, have resulted in the ICC organization being reduced to a toothless organization, viewed with suspicion by every cricket playing country of the cricket world

Incredible,England cricket team can win the cricket World cup

England cricket team can win the cricket World cup in the West Indies

The England cricket team can win the cricket World cup. Surprised? Here are 3 reasons why the England cricket team is one of the favorites to win the cricket World cup in the West Indies

England cricket team has a surfeit of allrounders for the World cup cricket tournament

The World cup cricket tournament has a common characteristic - The winning World cup cricket teams have truly great allrounders.

The current England cricket team has two really good allrounders in Andrew Flintoff and Collingwood. Flintoff is of course, the England cricket team's key player and one of the best allrounders in the cricketing world today and Collingwood has recently struck form for the England cricket team

England cricket team in a team in great form

The England cricket team has recently ended the Australian cricket tour in great form beating the Australian cricket team in the triseries one day international series, just before the cricket World cup.

Past World cup series have shown that the World cup cricket tournament is an extremely fickle tournament and form definitely matters-There isnt much time to recover from bad form and world cricket teams need to build the winning habit within a span of one or two months during the world cup cricket tournament

The England cricket team has a great combination in the cricket World cup

The England cricket team has good batsmen, good fast bowlers, a classy spinner and a couple of good allrounders

The England cricket team players like Flintoff have great potential and Flintoff is just one match away from making this 'Freddie's World cup' cricket tournament

In summary,GameCricket.com thinks that the England cricket team has a great chance of winning the World cup cricket tournament

England can win the cricket World cup in the West Indies

The England cricket team can win the cricket World cup in the West Indies

I know the thought of a demoralized England cricket team winning the World cup cricket tournament sounds incredible. But we,at GameCricket.com have concluded that England can win the cricket World cup, based on a statistical analysis of the England cricket team

The current England cricket team has skills more tuned towards one day international cricket rather than test cricket

The England cricket team is lucky to have many match-winners in their World cup cricket squad in the West Indies. Flintoff and Pieterson are two potential match-winners for the England cricket team, and both of them not only score a lot of runs but also score the runs at an incredible speed.

One of the key challenges in today's one day international cricket is the ability to push the scoring in the middle overs and players such as Flintoff and Pieterson are perfectly capable of making fast scoring happen.

Both Flintoff and Pieterson in the England cricket team, are also good players of spin bowling. The ability to play spin bowling is extremely important during the World cup cricket tournament in the West Indies, since the pitches are expected to be slow and aid spin

The England cricket team needs to sort out their strategy for the cricket world cup

The England cricket team needs to desperately rethink their strategy for the World cup cricket tournament - the England cricket team is actually quite good with batsmen like Bell,Pieterson and Vaugham, all rounders such as Collingwood and Flintoff, good fast bowlers such as Harmison and an excellent spinner in Monty Panesar

All successful one day international cricket teams for the cricket World cup ensure that their best batsmen get to play the maximum number of overs- thats why Sachin Tendulkar opens for India, Fleming and Astle play at the top of the order for New Zealand, Gilchrist opens for Australia and so on- The England cricket team needs to ensure that batsmen such as Flintoff and Pieterson play at the top of the order to ensure that they get enough overs to score runs at a fast pace

Monty Panesar is the key to the England cricket team's chances in the World cup.

The England cricket team needs to nurture Monty Panesar for the World cup cricket tournament since the West Indies cricket pitches are expected to be slow and possibly underprepared- a spinner will most likely be the man of the series for the cricket World cup and Monty Panesar could be that spinner. Yardy has also impressed with the limited chances he has got in the England cricket team and should be considered for the World cup cricket tournament in the West Indies

Jayasurya's comeback- Can Sachin Tendulkar revive the magic?

Sanath Jaysurya has made an incredible comeback to international cricket

Sanath Jayasurya was almost forced to retire at the start of the recent Sri Lanka Vs England cricket series. But Jayasurya has comeback in dramatic fashion by bludgeoning the cricket bowlers around the world and winning man of the match awards all over the place.

No one doubted Sanath Jayasurya's talent-but the whisper was out in international cricket circles that Jayasurya was past his prime. But Jayasurya's recent performances against England and now New Zealand have once again confirmed that Jayasurya is one of the most destructive opening batsmen in world cricket

Can Sachin Tendulkar too revive the old magic

In his heyday,Sachin Tendulkar could demolish a cricket opposition in a matter of a few overs, but the cumulative expectations of his cricket fans have had a detrimental effect on his cricket game and once finds Sachin to be playing way below his ability

In his prime,Sachin Tendulkar used to treat spin bowlers like Harris with such contempt, but his now venerable niceness seems to be dominating his personality

Sachin Tendulkar needs to wake up and realise that he is one of the most destructive batsmen that world cricket has ever seen, barring perhaps Vivian Richards

Wake up Sachin and show the bowlers of world cricket that you are not always nice!
