West Indies beat Pakistan to enter ICC Champions trophy final(Pakistan 131 all out(Hameed 39), West Indies 132/3 (Akhtar 2/18,Sarwan 56 not out)

The West Indies Vs Pakistan ICC Champions trophy semifinal started on an extremely controversial note when Inzamam decided to bat under overcast conditions

Without doubt,the West Indies cricket team would have fielded anyway if they had won the toss in this ICC Champions trophy semifinal.

The Pakistan batsmen actually started very well in this ICC Champions trophy semifinal with Malik,Inzamam and Hameed ensuring that Pakistan got to 71 for just 2 wickets. Then disaster struck for Pakistan as they managed to lose wickets at regular intervals and get all out for 131- four of the Pakistani batsmen got out for a nought!

Bravo was instrumental in two amazing runouts as Pakistan needed the assitance of a couple of Shahid Afridi's powerful blows to even get to 131.

West Indies in return were shell-shocked by the speed of Shoiab Akhtar and the batsmen who got out- Hinds and Gayle probably considered themselves lucky to have just escaped by losing their wickets.Once Shoiab was off the attack,Sarwan and Lara tore into the bowling of Sami,Naved and Razzaq and it appeared that the game would be over in just a few overs.

Then, Shoiab appeared for his second spell in this Pakistan Vs West Indies match and more drama ensued. Lara was felled to a nasty snorter from Akhtar- as the crowd watch paralysed,Lara shook himself and managed to reach the pavilion for hospitalization.

After Shoiab's second spell, Sarwan kept his head and ensured that the West Indies reached the target with just the loss of Chanderpaul's wicket. A great win for the West Indies team!
